CDROM II: Generic Alpine Valleys Characterization

This CD-ROM contains the geological, geotechnical and geophysical description of the Alpine Valleys studied within the framework of the WP4 of the SISMOVALP project.  This WP include new geotechnical and geophysical studies necessary to characterise the pilot valleys.

The Alpine valleys concerned by this project are:

    - the Grenoble Isère river valley (France)
    - the Lower Valais valley (Switzerland)
    - the Bovec basin in the upper Soca valley (Slovenia)
    - the Tagliamento high river valley (Italy)
    - the Gemona del Friuli valley (Italy)
    - the Val Resia  (Italy)
    - the Val Pellice (Italy)
    - the La Salle  in the Val d’Aoste (Italy)

The synthesis of the characterization of these valleys is given in the Valleys-synthesis-update-03.06.xls file. In addition a compilation of data is provided, grouped by directory named by the valley name.
